Plastic Fantastic's dome was built for the first time at a university campus on the Fulton Hall Lawn at Salisbury University. The Physical Plant collected the bottles over the summer of 2011. 50 students from Living Learning Center signed up for shifts and the New Media classes ensured its completion in two days. On the evening of the third day there was an artist talk followed by a video and sound installation event in collaboration with Salisbury University's faculty.
